Dr Golestani has a passion for creating and emphasizing beautiful, aesthetic and functional smiles which is so evident in his workmanship. You will arrive into our treatment rooms and will be greeted by one of our friendly team members and your journey to a healthier, more beautiful smile begins with an initial consultation and treatment proposal that is designed especially for you. We are dedicated to helping you achieve a beautiful, natural and healthy smile.
When you first arrive at our clinic you will be greeted by our lovely team at Reception.
If you are a new patient you will fill in a questionnaire to begin and our Dentist or Dental Hygienist will be with you shortly.
Depending on the reason for your visit to our office your initial appointment may take place in our boardroom, one of our clinical rooms or in most cases- both.
Our Boardroom is used for discussions with patients regarding their treatment.
A TV is used to display the patients’ photos, x-rays or any educational information that may be relevant to the discussion. This information will assist our team throughout the treatment discussion. To ensure that our patients understand exactly what will be completed during their treatment and to answer any questions.
Equipment used at Dental 359
CBCT X-Ray Unit
During your visit, it may be necessary for an OPG or Cone Beam x-ray to be taken.
Should you require one of these x-rays (2D or 3D) our Dentist will discuss with you why it is necessary prior to the image being taken.
Our CBCT unit allows Dr Golestani to take two- and three-dimensional images of our patient’s teeth, soft tissues, nerve pathways and bone, all in a single scan.
This means you don’t have to leave our office to have your x-ray taken and then return days-weeks later. Everything is done on the spot in the comfort of our office.
Airflow Technology
Hygiene treatment at Dental 359 has been revolutionized with our addition of the EMS Airflow Unit!
The guided biofilm therapy is pain-free, removing plaque, surface stains and reducing the need for hand scaling. The new technology is perfect for those who suffer from sensitivity as it provides the option to use warm water.
Our Dentists and Dental hygienists will discuss with you the benefits of this treatment before or at your next Hygiene appointment.
CEREC Primescan
Putty impressions are a thing of the past here at Dental 359. CEREC Primescan has allowed our office to complete all of our patient’s cases digitally (Digital Design Dentistry).
The intraoral scanner is accurate, fast and allows our patient to feel comfortable.
Once completed, your case is immediately ready to be sent to our lab.
CEREC
The use of CAD/CAM technology (CEREC Primescan) allows our Dentists to produce and insert individual metal-free ceramic restorations directly at the point of treatment (chairside) in a single appointment
The equipment and software are highly advanced and allow 3D digital scans of the teeth and surrounding tissues to be taken; eliminating the need for impressions. The cavity preparation is first photographed and stored as a three-dimensional digital model and proprietary software is then used to approximate the restoration shape using biogeneric comparisons to surrounding teeth. Our Dentists then refine that model using 3D CAD software. When the model is complete, our milling machine carves the actual restoration out of a ceramic block using diamond head cutters under computer control. This accurately designed restoration is milled while you wait comfortably in the dental chair. When complete, the restoration is bonded to the tooth using a resin. Restorations look outstanding, are long-lasting, and are biocompatible and metal-free.
