What is a smile makeover?
Smile Makeovers or Cosmetic Dentistry is very much about the appearance of your teeth but more importantly about restoring and improving the health and integrity of your dentition. The smile makeover process
The first stage of your smile makeover process involves sitting down with our cosmetic dentist, Dr Hooman Golestani for a consultation. Photos or X-ray’s may be taken during this consult so that he can have a greater understanding of your requirements.
Planning your new smile
Following your initial consultation, a professional scale and polish is performed and then impressions are taken of your teeth for a ‘wax up’ model of your existing teeth. Your dentist will create a wax mock-up of your teeth, which is a representation of what your smile could look like! It’s a wonderful opportunity to see what is possible – and if you want to change anything about the smile.
It’s at this stage that you will be given a treatment proposal, and all of the details of your proposed treatment will be discussed in full. The treatment plan is tailored to your specific cosmetic and functional needs! It could simply be a teeth whitening, or could involve dental implants.
